Mayo Fit Games started with a simple idea — find Mayo’s fittest. But it has grown into something much bigger.

At the sharp end of the competition, some seriously strong athletes go head-to-head to find out who really is the best. The events are designed to test strength, speed, endurance, power and grit — and winning Mayo Fit Games should mean something.

But you don’t have to be an elite athlete to take part. From beginners taking on their first fitness competition to experienced competitors chasing the top of the leaderboard, Mayo Fit Games is built for everyone willing to give it a go.

And the competition is only part of the day. The real idea behind Mayo Fit Games is community — bringing people, gyms, clubs, businesses, friends and families together for a day with a proper event atmosphere.

Draft system wording. The registration technology is being built now. The final waiver wording should be approved by the event insurer and/or an Irish solicitor before paid registration opens.

Mayo Fit Games 2027 — Participation Waiver

By entering Mayo Fit Games, I acknowledge that fitness competition involves strenuous physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury.

  • I confirm the information supplied in this registration is accurate.
  • I am responsible for deciding whether I am fit to participate and will seek medical advice where appropriate.
  • I agree to follow the competition rules, venue rules and reasonable safety instructions from organisers and officials.
  • I understand that event photography and video may be captured. Final media-consent wording will form part of the approved waiver before launch.
  • For team entries, this signature covers the signing athlete only. The remaining team members must complete their own waiver before competing.
  • For a junior entry, the parent/guardian confirms consent on behalf of the junior participant.

Payment is locked until every required waiver is complete. Adult teammates/other adults receive their own secure waiver link automatically. Stripe only becomes available when waiver status is 100% complete.
